AAW Trinity Center Fund

Trinity Center offers hope, hospitality and help, through accompanying individuals and families who can benefit from material, spiritual and emotional support as well as skills and resources for healthy lives. It will evolve as a welcoming space for accessing resources, serving others, peer support and creative expression. A core outreach of Trinity Center is the emergency Food Pantry that serves northern Brown County.

The mission of Hiawatha Community Hospital is to deliver exceptional patient care with an emphasis on patient safety, consumer satisfaction and quality outcomes. Hiawatha Community Hospital will be the hospital of choice in Northeast Kansas. Hiawatha Community Hospital in partnership with its medical staff and the community will continue to provide resources for education, diagnosis, treatment, and referral in the appropriate settings.

Little Hands Childcare and Development Center is a licensed non-profit childcare facility located in Hiawatha, KS. Little Hands opened our doors in 2012 and we are committed to providing a safe and enriched environment for young children to learn and develop their school readiness skills. Little Hands, Inc. is the only childcare facility in Hiawatha. The facility allows us to provide 6 age-based rooms, for more individualized care than what is often received in in-home daycares.

Robinson Fire Department is made up of 15 members who volunteer their time and efforts to serve the community.  Our primary coverage area includes the City of Robinson, Robinson Township, and Irving Township.  We also provide mutual aid to neighboring departments including the cities of Hiawatha and Horton.  Other than fires, we also respond to medical, motor vehicle accident, search and rescue, as well as various community support calls.

Ruby Slipper Goat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that started in 2016. Our mission is to provide care and rehabilitation to sick, injured, or disabled goats who may otherwise suffer and be discarded because they have conditions requiring care that is very expensive and labor intensive. Ruby Slipper Goat Rescue also networks with other rescues and sanctuaries across the United States to find quick placement for goats in need.

Zion Lutheran Church Fund

Zion Lutheran Church Fund

Zion Lutheran provides financial assistance to other non-profit organizations in the community.   Zion Lutheran, along with other LCMS Lutheran Churches in the area, assist in sponsoring The Lutheran Hour on KNZA every Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. to reach out to many people in our area, both churched and unchurched. Donations to Zion Lutheran Church in Hiawatha will be used for community needs as they arise and/or special projects that may come up throughout the year.
